POWERSTREAM
uses a range of sophisticated power tools to clean the insides and outsides
of process plant equipment. High pressure water is a safe effective
method of clearing obstructions.
POWERSTREAM have developed a wide range of purpose built, high pressure
water jetting technology for the removal of heavy scale or deposited
material in tube internals/externals .
This includes the self contained heat exchanger tube external cleaner
and both high and ultra
high
pressure automatic lancing systems. Regular internal and external cleaning
of the tube bundles is an essential part of any heat exchanger maintenance
program. Custom designed and built containerised tube bundle cleaning
systems provides an entirely self contained system for external tube
cleaning, Its movements are driven by hydraulic motors fed by a self
contained diesel power-unit, collapsible front wall allows easy loading.
Jetting is by means of a remotely operated, multi-nozzle jet arm which
sweeps the length of the tube bundle. Mechanical rollers rotate the
bundle to allow blasting of every part., Remotely operated from the
control cabin, operator safety is ensured during the cleaning process.
Customised
Internal tube cleaning system designed to clean all types of heat exchangers,
working with up to 5 rigid lances which spray high pressure water,automatically
moving through the tube internal length, indexing both horizontally
and vertically ensuring an effective cleaning job of all the tube configurations.
Its movements are driven by hydraulic motors fed by diesel power-unit,
which gives the necessary power to raise the water pressure up to 900
bar: the machine can also be manoeuvred from the control cabin, therefore
reducing the operator risk of contamination from direct contact with
the removed effluent.
The freelance tube bundle lancing system is designed particularly for
the unique requirements of the tube bundle
internal cleaning. Rated to 1000 bar 15,000psi, this system’s
design and operation maximises operator safety and efficiency. It is
capable of cleaning tube lengths of up to 13 m, from 12mm internal diameter.
The automated rotating lance system incorporates up to date technological
advances, achieving greater cleaning reliability and heat exchanger
efficiency. Benefiting from reduced personnel exposure to hazards associated
with tube cleaning. Quicker turnaround and less downtime for tube cleaning
restoring effective heat transfer.
